Detection of NPR transcripts by RT-PCR in the granulosa cell of the pig ovary (lanes 2, 4 and 6), and in the pituitary gland (lanes 1 and 3) and renal glomeruli (lane 5) of the rat for positive control. Bands representing the NPR-B subtype were detected in ethidium bromide-stained gels after 50 cycles of amplification in the ovarian granulosa cell extracts. Bands for NPR-A and NPR-C transcrips were also found in the granulosa cells. M, DNA molecular marker (174 RF DNA, Hae III cut).
